Lab tours in Dresden – Wednesday, June 26

At the end of the ICCG event, you can take part in one of two free tours to gain valuable practical insights. In small groups, you will be given an exclusive tour of the laboratories and workshops and be shown the latest technological developments.

3:15 pm Closing remarks conference
3:30 – 3:50 pm Bus Transfer MESSE Dresden – Fraunhofer FEP, Dresden
4:00 – 6:00 pm Tour 1: Fraunhofer FEP, Dresden

The Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP is located in Dresden and focuses on developing innovative solutions, technologies and processes for surface modification and organic electronics.

For the development of solutions for various industrial tasks in surface treatment, vacuum coating and for organic semiconductors we use our core competencies in

We offer a broad range of research, development and pilot manufacturing opportunities, especially for the treatment, structuring and finishing of surfaces as well as for organic and inorganic sensors and optical filters. Our fields of work are subdivided into 6 business units based on the different materials and geometries being processed and due to special technological synergies.

3:30 – 4:10 pm Bus Transfer MESSE Dresden – HZDR, Dresden (Rossendorf)
4:10 – 6:00 pm Tour 2: Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), Dresden

The lab tour presents the experimental possibilities of the Innovation Lab „blitzlab“ (flash lab) and the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden Rossendorf to modify and process materials for various thin film applications. „blitzlab“ guides through the lab and shows flash lamp annealing tools in operation including a roll-to-roll tool that combines inkjet print with flash lamp annealing.
